Yes, I am alive. I mean, if you can call life with dial up internet and zero - 1 bars of cell reception alive :) We've been dealing with sickness after sickness since we left Tacoma - I'm guessing that it's all of life catching up to us since I've been in survival mode getting through everything that was going on with John and then the move. But, life is good. We're home, and honestly it feels so much like we never left. Like Tacoma and life there was just some sort of dream. Life is still tumultous - we're living in my in-laws' basement, John is still trying to get a job in a depressed market - so on and so forth... BUT, we're with friends, we're with family, we're NEVER going to make a cross country move again, John is going to school (yeah! 4 credit algebra class!), I recently connected with a local coffee roaster who has been given the same vision of using coffee for missions (yes, I dealt with a bit of a pride issue with having to realize that somebody beat me to the punch, but God's work is being done, so I'm over it) and they're interested in working with me in some way (they even call me a 'master roaster' :) ), I got to go to cooking club this last weekend, I've spending all sorts of time with my 'mommy friends', and today I saw the first new leaves of spring, oh, and our tax return is going to be freaking unbelievable! Anyways, there are many things to be thankful for. Let me post pictures of two of them:
